Taking a Break

Centralicity will be taking a break for the summer. We will be back, up and running, at the beginning of September. While we are gone, the website will continue to provide all of our wonderful users with information, but any new GPT/survey updates and responses to emails will have to wait until our triumphant return.

Keep visiting our site. Several new website reviews have been added to our lineup. Two new reviews were added to GPT Review Central: getpaidto.com and breezybucks.com. Three new sites have been added to Survey Review Central: Angus Reid Forum (Canadians only), American Consumer Online Panel (despite the name it's not just for American's), and Valued Opinions (U.K. residents only).

Random updates: ThunderPTC has officially closed due to lack of advertisers.
Lockerz has added two bonus questions that appear after you answer the dailies. Two redemptions scheduled for June, one for users who earn 50 ptz or more from June 1st to 18th, and one for users who spend at least $0.27 in SHOP. (You must have a U.S. mailing address to participate in SHOP, but do not necessarily need to be a U.S. resident.
Add your birthday to Swagbucks to earn 50SBs on the date!

Quit Facebook Day

May 31 is Quit Facebook Day. So, if you're thinking of quitting, wait until that day and you'll at least still be following one trend. Don't worry, Centralicity's facebook page will remain online.

In Centralicity news, we've added a new GPT site, AnythingFree4You, and we've posted an organized list of words for anyone who's involved in SheKnows Points and Prizes, and if you're not into that site yet, click our sign up link to get started. You earn prizes like dvds and Visa gift cards, just by entering words that we've already written out for you. Could it be any easier?

Redeem while you can

It looks like many of the major PTC (Pay to Click) websites are losing ground with advertisers. LeadPrizes, ThunderPTC, WarRewards and many other sites have temporarily removed there PTC ads, putting a big damper on potential earnings for members of these sites.

On a similar note, Superpoints has been offline for months, and will remain offline until May 31, 2010. Even Swag Bucks members are taking a hit, while rumors circulate about the company raising the amount of Swag Bucks required to redeem for a $5 Amazon GC from 450 to 600 points.

What's the message? Redeem while you can. It's definitely not a panic situation, but why not redeem now if you have enough points? Sure, sometimes prizes go on sale, but don't hold your breath.

In Centralicity news, we have added a review of The Dollar Pit in GPT Review Central, and Opinion Outpost for Survey Central. Check them out!
